Draft for review. This policy is a working draft written to the shape Indian e-commerce and payment-gateway rules expect. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it checked, and fill in the registered entity name, GSTIN and grievance officer, before the site accepts money.
Ready-made uniform
Unworn, unwashed, with tags on and within thirty days of collection — exchanged for another size, or refunded in full. Bring the garment to Chowk Bazaar, or send it and we will refund the postage if the fault was ours.
What cannot be returned
- Name-taped garments. Once tapes are sewn in the garment is yours — fit before the tapes go on
- Altered garments, including let-down hems
- Cloth cut to length from the bolt
- Bespoke and made-to-measure, except for a fault in our work
If our work is at fault
Bring it back. We will put it right, remake it, or refund it — your choice, not ours. There is no time limit on a fault in our making; there never has been.
Alterations
Uniform bought here is altered free in the first term. After that, and for garments made elsewhere, alterations are charged from ₹2,200.
Bespoke garments are altered at cost for life, as stated on the commission page.
Refunds
Refunds go back the way the money came, within seven working days of us receiving the garment. School contract accounts are credited against the next invoice unless you ask otherwise.
Faulty on arrival
Telephone within forty-eight hours of collection or delivery. We will collect it at our cost.
